SPOMB Black Bait Rocket

Since the SPOMB was invented, baiting with the classic rocket has become history. Its excellent aerodynamics help anglers achieve baiting distances that are hard to match even with lead and rig.

The innovation of the SPOMB lies in its bait loading method. Essentially, the bait is enclosed inside the rocket, allowing the angler to use any type of bait, from seeds to live bait. During flight, the SPOMB retains its payload (unlike the classic rocket), delivering the entire amount of bait exactly where intended.

The huge success of the SPOMB can be overshadowed by one drawback: you need a powerful baiting rod, ideally 5.5-6lbs.

The new mini version allows anglers to use a regular 3.5lbs baiting rod. For maintenance baiting during short sessions where the noise caused by heavy baiting with a standard SPOMB is not desired, the MINI SPOMB is an ideal accessory.

NOTE: The SPOMB manufacturer does not specify the weight of each rocket baiting model. Based on weighing done personally by a consultant, we can tell you that the "Mini" version weighs 24g, the "Midi" version 41g, while the "Large" version weighs 58g.

Usage instructions:

1. Attach the rocket swivel to the baiting rod's leader;
2. Hold the rocket horizontally, with the SPOMB logo facing up;
3. Press the red button at the tip of the rocket to open it;
4. Fill the lower cavity with bait. (WARNING: Do not put bait in the compartment of the opening mechanism);
5. Close the rocket. When the rocket closes, you will hear a confirming click. Do not force closing if you’ve put too much bait!;
6. Cast the rocket with a smooth motion, at approximately a 45-degree angle to the water surface;
7. Upon impact with the water, the rocket will open, releasing the content. If it does not open, after retrieval turn the red button inside the tip of the rocket. Depending on this adjustment, the rocket will open more easily or with more resistance on water impact.
WARNING: For safe use of the SPOMB rocket, the manufacturer recommends using a baiting rod with a minimum power of 5lbs and a leader with at least 45lb breaking strength.
