Markers, Buoys
During carp fishing sessions, a crucial part of success lies in placing the rig every time in the spot that has been baited, a feeding area that can cover just a few meters. To mark this area, especially when rigs are set, various buoying systems are used. Buoys are thus installations or systems used to mark the baited spot, available in different shapes or colors, designed to ensure good visibility under a multitude of lighting conditions. Some buoys incorporate lighting systems to remain visible in darkness or low-light conditions.
Another category of markers is the marker floats, used for sounding. Sounding is the process through which we map the outline, slope, and texture of the substrate, as well as the depths of an area where we intend to fish. Marker floats are therefore large floats with high buoyancy, intended to help us determine the depth of a zone. Additionally, markers are useful for providing a visual reference when we are baiting.
The line marker is a special pencil used to mark a specific distance on the line. This is extremely useful both in match fishing and in feeder fishing when we want to consistently return to a specific area. Line markers contain substances that do not damage the coating of the lines or affect their strength.
