Swimbait
Swimbait
The swimbait is a soft lure made of soft plastic or rubber, designed to mimic a wide range of prey fish as well as other creatures. Based on the principle of shads, some of these lures are already rigged, featuring a jig integrated into the body from the moment of molding, while others can be additionally rigged with a treble hook.
The supple swimbait is typically designed for a swimming action in the water column, while models without a hook can also be fished in contact with the bottom. The target fish with these lures are usually pike, zander, and asp.
