Putty is the popular name for tungsten putty, a non-toxic material with similar properties to lead in terms of weight, but much more malleable and flexible.

Tungsten has a high density and is easy to work with. It can be easily manipulated between your fingers and will adhere perfectly to fishing lines. The softer variants can be applied over braided lines to enhance their rigidity. Putty is an excellent option for setups using pop-up baits. It allows for optimal balancing of the bait, ensuring that the rig is anchored to the substrate and providing flawless mechanics.
