Artificial baits
Artificial Baits
Modern technology allows for the imitation of natural baits not only in appearance but often in texture and buoyancy as well. Thus, a multitude of artificial baits has emerged on the market, mimicking both living creatures and baits such as seeds, pellets, or boilies.
Artificial baits have become increasingly popular in recent years due to specific advantages such as color retention, aroma preservation, excellent casting durability, and resistance to smaller fish or crayfish attacks, as well as the ability to maintain buoyancy, ensuring the same presentation regardless of how long they are kept in water. These perfect replicas of live baits—such as maggots, dragonfly larvae, or worms—in various floating or sinking options should not be missing from the tackle boxes of modern anglers. In addition to artificial baits that mimic live bait, there are also successful options that imitate boilies or corn grains. Floating or sinking, in various combinations with traditional bait or other artificial baits, these options are recommended for creating specific hook and bait presentations.
Artificial baits are also a good solution for longer trips; they can be taken on vacations, when camping, or when natural baits are not accessible or cannot be preserved. They are easy to store and do not require special conditions. For greater attractiveness, they can be dipped or coated with a layer of paste.
