Rigs are ready-tied hooks designed for static fishing styles, which can be used with setups, bait, lures, and fishing gear to catch fish. Made from both monofilament and braided line, they can come in various lengths, use hooks with eyes or paddles, have a loop or knot at one end, and at the other end, a hook that can be simply attached for baiting with hair rigs or various ways of bait attachment (band, spike, pushstop).

Borrowing from carp fishing, for method feeder fishing there are dedicated rigs with lengths suitable for this technique (ranging from 8-20cm), and hooks appropriate for the main target species in this fishing style - carp. For match fishing when targeting carp, there are hair rigged hooks ranging from 15-40 cm in length. These are also suitable for general static fishing.
For pole fishing, there are small-sized hooks tied with thin lines, typically ranging from 20-40cm in length. For feeder fishing with a basket, dedicated fishing rigs are available that can have longer lengths (from 50-100cm), suitable for situations when feeder fishing is preferred in flowing waters.
