Clips

The fishing clip is a piece made of flexible steel wire, usually consisting of a movable arm and a fixed arm equipped with a locking system for the former.

A clip allows for easy and quick attachment of other accessories or even a line that has a loop at the end. This is their main advantage, as they are very helpful for quickly making changes. Last but not least, clips provide good strength, often superior to what we can achieve by using a simple fishing line or various knots for replacement.
