Mormasca

The Mormasca is a small lure, typically under 1 cm, that is used in ice fishing and vertical fishing. It essentially consists of a hook with various shaped and styled weights cast onto the shank. In this respect, the Mormasca is quite similar to a micro jig. It can be used on its own, but its maximum effectiveness occurs when baits such as chironomid larvae or worms are used on the hook.

The Mormasca can be used to catch all species of fish, both peaceful and predatory.
