Preston Caged Window Feeder Basket, Large

Window Feeders are baskets closed at both ends with a cut-out window on the side for easy loading. The window is thumb-sized, allowing for quick one-handed loading. Thanks to the weight positioned at the base of the basket, precision long-distance casts won’t be an issue. With the weight located at the bottom, the basket will have a straight trajectory, resulting in a very narrow bait bed and consequently a higher density of fish near the hook. It offers maximum accuracy even in situations with crosswinds.

The body shape and side cut-out allow for loading a large amount of particles (seeds, pellets) or live bait without needing a large amount of groundbait. Unlike traditional baskets open at both ends, which require two groundbait "caps," the particles in the window basket can be secured with a single groundbait cap that stays in place during casting, thanks to the shape and weight positioned at the bottom.

Thanks to the specially designed internal chamber with an inclined base and strategically placed side holes, the basket releases most of its contents upon reaching the bottom, making it suitable for fishing in medium and deep waters. They are ideal for selective fishing based mainly on particle baiting without overloading the swim with groundbait that would attract small fish.
