Hooks

Hooks are treble hooks used for rigging lures. They have the advantage of providing greater coverage for lures and increasing the chances of catching predatory fish that attack the lures.

For both crankbaits and spoons, wide gap models with a strong, sharp point and durable yet flexible edges will be preferred. The size of the hooks is chosen based on the size of the lure being used.

Hooks can also be used in bait fishing, an example being predator fishing with live bait fish or fish pieces.
