Representing the most effective hook bait in fast fishing, pop-ups work best together with groundbait mixes. However, due to their high levels of attractants, flavors, and powdered and liquid additives, they can also be used in isolated fishing with a lead, along with a small soluble bag. Groundbaiting with such hook baits is not recommended, as they do not represent a nutritional food source for fish and are intended exclusively for hook use. Their composition includes casein, milk powder, soy flour, WPC, and a liquid part made of egg, flavor, attractant, and coloring.

Floating baits are attached either to special pop-up hair rigs, rings, or directly on the hair line. The rig should always be checked in a small container with water. Since these are floating baits, they can cause the entire rig to float and not function properly. Therefore, balancing floating baits is done either by using tungsten, lead weights, or by matching the hook size to the bait size. Floating baits are made from a mix of buoyant ingredients bound with egg. At the same time, they maintain their buoyancy for a long time, allowing the rig to be left in the water for up to 24 hours without mechanical influence.
