Description caret-down

Okuma ITX Carbon Reel

The Okuma ITX Carbon is a lightweight and compact spinning reel, built around a rigid C-40X carbon fiber body. This extremely durable carbon fiber material offers up to 25% more stiffness than standard graphite materials. While improving weight and rigidity, the body remains compact in size. Lightweight and rigid, the C-40X rotor and TCA construction make the ITX the perfect reel for both freshwater fishing and spinning in brackish waters.

The ITX Carbon features a multi-disc carbon fiber drag system with Okuma’s Hydro Block seal, which prevents water and dirt from entering the internal components. The 8 high-performance ball bearings (7HPG + 1RB), combined with the precisely cut brass pinion gear, ensure smoothness and accuracy during operation. The standard CNC-machined aluminum spool is anodized in a two-tone finish (black and silver).

The CFR rotor manufacturing technology creates a cyclonic airflow combined with Traction Grip Technology (TGT), computer-balanced rotor system (RESII), and a CNC-machined aluminum handle screw, all contributing to smooth and precise reel performance even under the toughest fishing conditions. One of the key features of the new ITX Carbon reels is the CNC-machined aluminum handle, which attaches to the reel body via a screw-in system.

NOTE: Reel sizes 1000, 2000, and 2500 come with an "I" type knob button, while sizes 3000 and 4000 are equipped with a "T" type knob button.
