The Q5 bite alarms feature classic buttons for volume control (button "V"), tone (button "T"), and sensitivity (button "S"). Volume, tone, and sensitivity all have independent adjustment levels. Thanks to the universal thread, the alarms can be mounted on any type of rod pod, tripod, buzz bar, or bank stick.

The alarms have a built-in function that signals "run" bites (the fish takes line) as well as "drop" bites (the fish approaches the rod). They also feature vibration mode, low battery alarm, anti-theft alarm, night light, Jack socket for powering illuminated swingers, and snag ears (detachable stabilizing ears that can be installed in case of strong wind).

The housing of the alarms and the receiver is made of ABS resistant to mechanical shocks and offers protection against water intrusion. The alarms operate on a 9V battery, which can provide long-lasting operation (up to 100 hours). After the fishing session, it is recommended to remove the batteries and transport them separately.

The Q5 receiver features an automatic detection system for easy synchronization of the alarms. The 4 signal LEDs can be synchronized with up to 4 alarms (the warning tone and colors are perfectly synchronized). The receiver has buttons for volume ("V") and tone ("T") adjustment. The "Vibration" or "Silent" mode can also be selected. The receiver runs on 3 AAA batteries.

NOTE: The effective range of the alarms and receiver is approximately 200-250m, depending on usage conditions. The alarms and receiver come in a plastic case lined with foam material, providing transport protection against mechanical shocks and water intrusion. Both the receiver and alarms feature protection against water entering the speakers. The standard LED colors of the bite alarms are red, yellow, blue, and green. The receiver cannot be synchronized with more than 4 Q5 alarms!
