Zeck Rattle Teaser is probably one of the most innovative rigs for vertical catfish fishing, created by the German manufacturer after numerous discussions and consultations with renowned catfish anglers. It comes in 4 weight options (60g, 100g, 150g, and 200g) and 3 color variants (green, white, and black), which have proven through countless tests to be the most effective.

The name "clonk" comes from the fact that we attract the catfish's attention using the clonk to signal that a tempting bait is approaching. Essentially, the clonk's impact awakens the fish's interest in the bait we have in the water. Whether fishing on a lake or flowing water, this predator’s senses are extremely sharp, capable of detecting the vibrations of this lure even from great depths. Remarkably, we can monitor on the sonar screen when the fish approaches and even when it strikes. The Teaser concept was developed based on the simple bundle of worms principle.

With gentle vertical movements, we can observe how we achieve a jellyfish effect, highly enticing for the biggest predator in our waters. But Zeck went further and built a pivot-type head with ball bearings (for greater attraction), attaching silicone rubber skirts, at the ends of which small beads are fixed. These inevitably collide during vertical movement. Essentially, we get a double effect: visual and auditory. Whether in river currents or lake waters, a slight animation of the teaser is important. Some anglers normally animate the rig by simply tapping the rod. If the wind blows, waves can substitute this action. The hooks used by Zeck are super sharp and can be used with confidence, especially as they are well-matched to the size of the rig.

Many enthusiasts choose to enhance the rig’s attractiveness (olfactory) by baiting the treble hooks with worms or pieces of liver. The 200g model is ideal for fishing in strong wind conditions or in waters with currents exceeding the boat's speed. In such situations, lightly weighted rigs tend to leave the sonar’s scanning cone, making the rig invisible on the screen.
