Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on the world's most majestic rivers, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the needs of keeping the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get out on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Women Tributary Stockingfoot is a waterproof bib dedicated to women from Simms, resulting from 16,000 hours of field testing. The bibs are constructed with durable, breathable polyester fabric with four layers on the lower section and three layers on the upper section. The neoprene boots are compression molded for enhanced comfort and a better fit. The chest area features 3 pockets, one central with a waterproof zipper and 2 positioned laterally, lined inside with microfleece for hand warming. For fastening, the bib has two adjustable shoulder straps and an elastic belt around the waist.
