Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades delivering life-changing experiences to clients on some of the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof waders available at the time didn’t meet the needs of keeping top anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

Women Freestone Stockingfoot is a waterproof wader from Simms designed especially for women, developed after 16,000 hours of field testing. The wader is constructed with durable, breathable, four-layer Toray® QuadraLam™ fabrics. The boots are compression-molded for enhanced comfort and a better fit. Unlike the Freestone Z Stockingfoot model, this one does not feature a center zipper. On the chest area, there are 3 pockets: one central and 2 positioned laterally, lined inside with microfleece to warm hands. For fastening, the wader has two adjustable straps and an elastic belt around the waist.
