The Zeck Cat Pointer is a two-piece rattling lure with slow sinking action to depths of up to one meter. The Cat Pointer is the first model on the market truly developed specifically for catfish fishing, although it boasts exceptional stability and an ideal weight. Placing the tungsten weight in the front piece allowed for larger resonance chambers inside to produce the rattling sounds. Before perfecting this model, only handcrafted wooden versions existed, which were relatively unstable and displayed this behavior during retrieval but did not deliver spectacular results. With improvements made to the first version, the lure was tested in rivers such as the Po (Italy) and the Seine (France), exceeding expectations from the very first days, becoming a lure anglers can fully trust.

The primary use is Stop & Go in shelters like bushes and reed beds, but of course, it can also be used under normal conditions or in shallower water areas, taking advantage of the optimal sinking rate. The lure can be allowed to sink slightly in front of shoreline vegetation to be within the catfish's strike zone, at which point local fish will focus their attention on the lure.

It’s built from premium materials that provide exceptional body durability against damages caused by catfish teeth or even pike; the components are also carefully chosen. Split rings are robust yet corrosion-resistant, designed to withstand immense pressure during the fight, and the treble hooks are razor-sharp, made from Japanese steel.
