The sliding (inline) feeder with a flat base is a perfect combination of a classic feeder and modern manufacturing technologies. Without a doubt, the best method for fishing on the Danube or on rivers with a strong current is to use spiral feeders, as the bait will disperse at a much slower rate. Adding a weight heavy enough to fix the rig on the substrate results in the perfect feeder.

The feeder with a flat base will always position correctly on the substrate, will resist deformation effectively, and is also bulkier compared to regular versions, allowing it to store a significant amount of bait. The hook with bait can be hidden in the bait or left free, but the leader should never be longer than 20cm. Best results are achieved with leaders of 8-15cm, depending on the bait used.
