The new ThermaCELL MT-100 Mosquito Trap provides continuous protection over an area of approximately 1500sqm. It can be used for fishing, camping, in the garden, on the terrace, or any recreational area. Mosquitoes and other insects have an excellent sense of smell and can locate their prey from over 30 meters away. They detect carbon dioxide from our breath, as well as heat, odor, and sweat emitted by our bodies. The MT-100 mosquito trap imitates these signals and lures insects close to the trap's vacuum suction opening using the bait and the UV lamp. The insects are then sucked into the trap’s container, where they die from dehydration within a few hours. The MT-100 mosquito trap captures insects immediately, thereby continuously reducing the mosquito population and their breeding capacity in the area. Under average conditions, the MT-100 exterminates mosquitoes across nearly 1,500sqm. For this reason, it is recommended to operate it continuously.

The ThermaCELL MT-100 Mosquito Trap is easy to handle and almost maintenance-free. Even though the trap captures insects right away, it may take 6-8 weeks to completely stop mosquito development in the area. Ideally, if installed as early as possible in spring or early summer, your garden and terrace can be completely mosquito-free within 1-2 weeks. Easy to operate, eco-friendly, and free of harmful chemicals or propane gas.

With average usage, the Rapid Action bait should be replaced once a month, and the collection container emptied as needed, approximately once a week. The product poses no danger to humans or pets. It is recommended to place it near mosquito breeding grounds, somewhat away from living spaces, preferably in a spot sheltered from rain and wind. The device has IP44 protection, so it can be exposed to weather.
