Suzuki DF70ATL White, 70HP Thermal Engine

Suzuki is a boat engine manufacturer offering a wide range of options, technologies, and innovations. No other company has come close to the engineering expertise of Suzuki specialists in designing boat engines. This experience is backed by a commitment to 4-stroke engine technology that has never failed. While other companies have experimented with technologies that didn’t prove successful, Suzuki has remained focused on producing 4-stroke engines, delivering the best engines that are both reliable and powerful, perfect for today’s boats.

The design and state-of-the-art features make the DF70A engine the most advanced portable engine available. It is the world’s first 70HP engine designed with the most innovative systems such as Lean Burn (provides the exact amount of fuel and air mixture depending on navigation conditions) and Battery-Less Electronic Fuel Injection (a system that delivers remarkable improvements in fuel consumption while maintaining high power and performance levels).

With this engine, Suzuki specialists demonstrate their determination to bring the benefits of advanced and efficient technology into a compact and lightweight 4-stroke engine. Performance is guaranteed by a DOHC engine with a displacement of 1502cc, ensuring excellent fuel economy. Thanks to its large displacement and low weight, the DF70A engine provides excellent running performance while meeting even the strictest emission standards. The engine generates enough power for all small boats (and can also be used as a backup engine for larger vessels).

Additionally, another immediately noticeable feature, besides improving operational levels and saving fuel, is the tilt system operation which impresses with its high level of comfort. It is easy to lift and position where desired, and the tilt positions ensure mounting the engine according to the boat’s requirements. The engine is protected from corrosion with a special finish developed by Suzuki’s team of specialists (Anti Corrosion System). Applied directly on the aluminum surface, it maximizes the bond between the finish and surface, enhancing protection and durability of parts constantly exposed to water.

NOTE: Underpowering a boat is to be avoided, as the engine will run at higher revs, eventually leading to premature wear of parts and increased fuel consumption. Overpowering a boat can create handling difficulties, as well as very high consumption and costs (consumables, parts, etc.).
