This motor highlights Suzuki specialists’ determination to bring the benefits of advanced, efficient technology into a compact, lightweight 4-stroke engine. Performance is guaranteed by a DOHC engine with a 941cc displacement, ensuring excellent fuel consumption. Thanks to its large displacement and low weight, the DF50A delivers excellent running performance while meeting even the strictest emissions standards. The motor produces enough power for all small boats (and can also be used as a backup engine for larger vessels).

Additionally, another immediately noticeable feature besides improved operation and fuel saving is the tilt system, which impresses with its high comfort level. It is easy to lift and position where desired, and the tilt positions allow mounting the motor according to the boat’s requirements. The engine is protected against corrosion with a special finish developed by Suzuki specialists (Anti Corrosion System). Applied directly to the aluminum surface, it maximizes the bond between the coating and the surface, increasing the protection and durability of parts constantly exposed to water.

NOTE: Underpowering a boat should be avoided, as the engine will run harder, leading to premature wear of parts and increased fuel consumption. Overpowering a boat can cause handling difficulties and very high expenses (consumables, parts, etc.).
