NOTE: Undermotoring a boat is to be avoided, as the engine will run at higher RPMs, ultimately leading to premature wear of parts and increased fuel consumption. Overmotoring a boat can cause difficulties in handling, as well as high operating costs (consumables, parts, etc.).
