This engine showcases Suzuki specialists’ determination to bring the benefits of advanced and efficient technology to a compact, lightweight 4-stroke motor. Performance is guaranteed by a 490 cc OHC engine that ensures excellent fuel economy. Thanks to its large displacement and light weight, the DF25A delivers excellent running performance while meeting even the most stringent emission standards. The engine produces enough power for all small boats (and can also be used as an auxiliary motor for larger vessels).

Additionally, another immediately noticeable feature, besides improved operational efficiency and fuel savings, is the tilt system operation which impresses with a high level of comfort. It is easy to lift and position as desired, and the tilt positions allow the engine to be mounted according to the boat’s requirements. The motor is protected against corrosion with a special finish developed by Suzuki’s team of specialists (Anti Corrosion System). Applied directly to the aluminum surface, it maximizes the bond between the finish and the surface, enhancing protection and durability of parts constantly exposed to water.

NOTE: Underpowering a vessel is to be avoided, as the engine will run at higher RPMs, eventually leading to premature wear of parts and increased fuel consumption. Overpowering a vessel can cause difficulties in handling the boat, as well as very high fuel consumption and expenses (consumables, parts, etc.).
