It is the world's first 20HP outboard motor designed with innovative systems such as: Lean Burn (which delivers the exact amount of fuel and air mixture depending on navigation conditions) and Battery-Less Electronic Fuel Injection (a system that provides remarkable improvements in fuel consumption while maintaining high power and performance).

This motor highlights Suzuki's determination to bring the benefits of advanced and efficient technology into a compact, lightweight 4-stroke engine. Performance is guaranteed by an OHC engine with a displacement of 327 cc, ensuring excellent fuel consumption. Thanks to its large displacement and reduced weight, the DF20A provides excellent performance in operation, meeting even the most rigorous emission standards. The motor generates enough power for all small boats (it can also be used as a backup engine for larger vessels).

Additionally, another feature that stands out in terms of improved operational efficiency and fuel saving is the tilt system operation, which impresses with its high level of comfort. The engine is protected from corrosion with a special finish developed by Suzuki's team of specialists (Anti Corrosion System). Applied directly to the aluminum surface, it maximizes the bond between the finish and the surface, enhancing protection and durability of the parts that are constantly exposed to water.

NOTE: Undermotorizing a vessel should be avoided, as it will cause the engine to rev higher, ultimately leading to premature wear of parts and increased fuel consumption. Over-motorizing a vessel can create difficulties in maneuvering the boat, resulting in high consumption and costs (consumables, parts, etc.).
