The Suzuki DF100CTX is part of the modern four-stroke engine series, specially designed for medium-sized vessels that require a balance of power, fuel efficiency, and long-term reliability. A distinctive feature is the high reduction ratio (2.59:1), allowing the use of larger diameter propellers for efficient propulsion and stability at high speeds or with heavy loads. The electronic fuel injection system ensures quick starts and smooth operation, while the chain-driven timing system, mounted in an oil bath and self-tensioning, eliminates the need for periodic maintenance. The 40A alternator guarantees sufficient power for onboard electronics, even at low RPM. Additionally, the power trim & tilt system offers precise control over the motor's position, easily adapting it to various navigation conditions. The compact housing and anti-corrosion finishes contribute to the engine's durability, while easy access to filters and essential components simplifies routine maintenance.

The engine is protected against corrosion with a special finish developed by Suzuki specialists (Anti Corrosion System). Applied directly to the aluminum surface, it maximizes adhesion between the finish and the surface, enhancing protection and durability of parts constantly exposed to water.

NOTE: Underpowering a boat should be avoided, as the engine will operate at higher RPMs, leading to premature wear of components and increased fuel consumption. Overpowering a boat can cause handling difficulties and significantly higher expenses (fuel, parts, consumables, etc.).
