Simms was founded in 1980 by a visionary angler and long-time guide John Simms. After spending decades providing clients with life-changing experiences on the world’s most majestic rivers, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the needs of keeping top anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create gear worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Vermilion Hoody features a pouch for holding drinks during nature walks or outings on the water, while performance fabrics and organic cotton fibers blend perfectly for added warmth and a soft feel on chilly autumn days. The durable and flexible sleeve construction offers a wide range of motion, allowing casting from any angle. The oversized, three-panel hood with adjustable drawcords helps retain body heat inside the hoody. There is a velcro-secured pocket and interior compartments located behind a front-facing kangaroo pocket designed to warm your hands.
