The Simms company was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing clients with life-changing experiences on the world's most majestic rivers, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the high standards needed to keep the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Simms Gore ExStream Head is designed for rainy days on the water, made with 3-layer GORE-TEX® fabric for absolutely waterproof and breathable performance. For added protection, the manufacturer has added ear shields on the sides. The Simms logo is embroidered on the front of the brim. The head is available in two sizes: S/M and L/XL.
