Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing clients with life-changing experiences on the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the needs of keeping top anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to hit the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

Offering the best in waterproof and breathable technology, efficiently protecting you even in the harshest weather conditions. Featuring a two-layer Toray® fabric construction with PrimaLoft® Silver thermal insulation, it retains body heat while efficiently wicking moisture. Simms experts developed a durable 30D 100% nylon outer material, specially designed to be lightweight to preserve freedom of movement (a feature appreciated by competitive anglers). It’s equipped with two side pockets, one positioned on the upper front and one inside, high neck protection, and adjustable drawcords. The interior pockets are made from soft material, and the front zipper with flaps is durable and resistant to repeated use.
