The Shimano Medium Baitrunner reel features Shimano's top technologies, equipped with a large AR-C Spool and a durable XT7 alloy body. It includes the following built-in systems: "X-Ship" - a dual bearing shaft design for smooth retrieve and extra power, "Aero Wrap II" - a special two-speed winding system for X-pattern line lay to enable long casts without tangles, and "Super Stopper II" - an advanced and improved anti-reverse system.

Inside, all four bearings are protected by the A-RB system for enhanced durability, and the gearing has been redesigned to minimize friction and increase power transfer. This provides greater capacity, making fish fights much more enjoyable while offering better control.
