Shimano FX Reel

The Shimano FX is a sleek reel designed around a lightweight XT-7 alloy body that provides increased resistance to corrosion. The gear operation is ensured by the 3 ball bearings and incorporated technologies: Super Stopper II (advanced anti-reverse), Dyna Balance (computerized rotor balancing that reduces play and ensures exceptional performance), Power Roller (significantly reduces the risk of line twist, especially during retrieval, regardless of whether monofilament or braided line is used), VariSpeed (the revolutionary system consisting of two oscillating mechanisms: the first is oval, while the second is square. Only a special program and the machinery developed by Shimano have made it possible for these two profiles to fit perfectly, resulting in a parallel arrangement of the line coils on the spool to improve casting accuracy).

NOTE: The Shimano FX reels in sizes 1000 and 2000 are sold with an EVA "I" type knob, while sizes 2500, 3000, and 4000 are equipped with an EVA "T" type knob.
