The TRANSEND™ 1500 FLEX LED Head Torch is a rechargeable headlamp with 5 lighting modes, made by Nebo in Grand Prairie, Texas, USA. It is powered by an included 3200mAh 18650 lithium-ion USB rechargeable battery, which features a built-in USB-C port. Remove the battery from the torch to charge it by connecting the provided USB-C cable to the port on the top of the battery, and the other end to a standard USB-A port. The battery charge indicator will turn red during charging and green once fully charged. Make sure to reinsert the battery with the positive end down and fully tighten the head after charging to maintain the IPX7 waterproof rating (up to 1m depth for 30 minutes).

This torch features 3 high-power LEDs that emit a bright beam of 1500 lumens on turbo mode, designed as a boost setting allowing 30-second bursts at a time to prevent overheating and protect the LEDs. The high setting delivers a steady 750 lumens for 4 hours, and two additional brightness levels are available, along with a strobe mode. With four brightness modes plus Strobe, the torch is operated via a button at the end and a rotating mode selector dial. You can set the mode to low, medium, or high by turning the dial to the corresponding letter before turning on the light, or adjust it while the light is on for convenience. Once you have your desired setting, press the button once to turn the light on and press again to turn it off.

Turbo mode is activated by holding down the button while the torch is either on or off and lasts 30 seconds before returning to the previous setting (unless cancelled earlier with another press). A quick double-click at any time activates the strobe, and a single press returns to the last setting. Each brightness transition is smooth to be easier on your eyes and help conserve battery life. The head strap attaches to a plastic mount that securely holds the torch and allows it to pivot 180° to direct the beam where you need it. The torch can also be quickly removed from the mount if needed. A battery power indicator is built into the button and lights up while the torch is on. An orange light indicates the battery is above 25% power, and blinking means less than 25% power and that charging is needed soon. This torch is excellent for hands-free use and features a magnet at one end, perfect for working on a car, in the workshop, or attaching to any magnetic surface.
