The Rapala Mag Spring Pliers feature a straight nose with a "power claw" profile (fits perfectly in the hand), made from 420 stainless steel coated with a high-quality nickel alloy. The metal treatment provides excellent corrosion resistance. The pliers have a Gunmetal Grey finish, and the rubber handles offer a firm grip even when your hands are wet.

These pliers are equipped with a "Mag-Spring" system made from two bearings that repel each other, keeping the pliers permanently open for much easier handling. With this tool, you can crimp single or double sleeves if you want to make your own leaders from Teflon, fluorocarbon, or kevlar. They can also be used for cutting leaders, or as a multi-purpose tool, hook remover, leader cutter, etc.
