The GMR 2534 xHD3 is an open-array radar designed for consistent target detection and clear display at all ranges. Scan averaging reduces sea clutter and interference, while angular target sizing optimizes object outlines on the screen for easy interpretation.

The 100kt-rated open-array antennas support rotation speeds of 24/48rpm, providing fast image refresh. The narrow horizontal beam and antenna gain help separate targets at long distances, and the 4kW version ensures a maximum range of 96nm and a minimum range of 20m (with compatible overlay sensors, sold separately).

True Echo Trails display the historical path of vessels, eliminating the effect of relative motion for identifying moving targets and collision risks. Dual Range with Overlay mode allows two independent ranges to be shown side-by-side or overlaid on compatible charts. Dual-Radar support adds redundancy, and MARPA, Guard Zone, and VRM/EBL indicators assist with quick distance and bearing measurements.
