The Avenger XD SST is a Big Pit reel, specially designed for anglers who want to achieve extreme casting distances. Everything has been optimized for this purpose by Prologic specialists: the reel body, the long cast aluminum spool, and even the ultra-slow oscillation system DLM (Dynamic Line Management) that allows for an even line distribution. The round HIP line clip provides extra line protection and is extremely useful when precision casting to a specific fishing spot is required.

Prologic experts also employed UPLL (Uniformed Parallel Line Lay) technology to create a spool with maximum grip, whether using monofilament or braided line. The grooved spool ensures excellent line grip, preventing the line from slipping and causing issues during the fight. Additionally, the spool features an Aero Lip design, which helps achieve significant distances by reducing friction between the line and the spool’s lip. The FCS 1 (Friction Control System) braking system represents Prologic's classic technology generation, consisting of felt washers soaked in oil. This provides high rigidity, appreciable drag force, and fast response.
