This reel is designed to complement the Rockaway Surf rods. It features a modern design with a lightweight, corrosion-resistant body, equipped with 5 stainless steel ball bearings + 1 roller bearing and a gear ratio of 5.3:1. The Rockaway Baitfeeder model includes the Okuma On/Off Baitfeeding system. All models have a modern design with a rigid handle to reduce flex. The RES II system precisely balances and eliminates all spool oscillation for perfect line lay and smooth start-up.
