Kuusamo is the largest metal lure factory in Finland, renowned worldwide among anglers mainly for the Professor and Rasanen models. Kuusamo was born from the dream of two friends, enthusiastic fishermen since youth, who lacked only metal lures in their arsenal and decided to produce their own fishing gear. The Rasanen Bead is one of the most versatile and successful spinning lures (many professional anglers have adopted this model for pike fishing) handcrafted by the famous Finnish company.

Kuusamo spinning spoons are made from a metal alloy providing increased resistance to mechanical stress, equipped with very sharp hooks and high-quality stainless steel rings. The compact, slightly concave body has excellent aerodynamics allowing for long-distance casts. During retrieval, the spoons produce a very strong vibration in the water, which triggers the interest of targeted fish.

Professional anglers’ tip for all Rasanen lure fans: try an irregular retrieval. Start with a slow retrieve, then stop briefly. Next, retrieve a little faster and stop again after five or six turns of the reel handle. After the stop, go back to slow retrieval. The spoon will offer a "zigzag" action that attracts pike, and surprisingly often, the fish strikes immediately when the retrieval stops. This model now comes in three UV-treated colors, featuring an impressive "spider web" pattern. Additionally, it stands out with a red bead (acting as an attractor both visually and acoustically), which has become a recognized "signature" by anglers worldwide.
