Built with Sintrix NSX technology and a higher percentage of high and intermediate modulus carbon fibers, the rod features a lightweight design that maximizes line feel and sensitivity. Titanium frame guides with ceramic inserts and the custom ultralight reel seat improve balance and durability. The rod comes in a Hardy aluminum tube, ideal for technical fishing situations. True to its name, the Ultralite DH reel seat is designed to keep the rod lightweight. A carbon fiber insert is cut and replaced with lighter carbon, leaving the blank exposed to reduce weight.
