The rod is housed in a Hardy aluminum tube, making it perfect for technical fishing situations. The rod features a custom ultralight reel seat. As its name suggests, the Ultralite DH seat is designed to keep the rod light. A carbon fiber insert is cut and replaced with lighter carbon, leaving the blank exposed to reduce weight.
