The Hakuyo 2018 bite alarm is designed for modern carp fishing sessions, offering multiple signaling and customization features. The model allows audible differentiation between runs and drops and is equipped with distinct colored LEDs for quick identification in multi-rod fishing.

The housing is water-resistant, with the alarm functioning even after complete immersion. It includes a detachable Snag Bar and an illuminated spool with a "V" channel, useful for precise bite indication. The anti-theft function can be activated to trigger an alert on the receiver in case of suspicious rod or sensor movement.

Volume, sensitivity, and tone are adjustable via side buttons, while standby light and mute functions can be activated through dedicated buttons. The alarm operates on 9V batteries and has low power consumption, being compatible with radio receivers via a unique signal to avoid interference.
