With the Garmin Striker Cast sonar, we find and catch fish more easily. It is user-friendly and transmits and displays sonar images on a simple smartphone or tablet app interface (setup is quick). It works in both fresh and saltwater (and even for ice fishing), showing fish and structure in very clear detail.

You can also use it to check the water temperature. The sonar connects and transmits wirelessly up to 60 meters, and to simplify operation further, enable fish icons to see graphic images of target fish and depth values, so you know exactly where to cast your line.

This sonar features a free app for Android or iOS with a WiFi connection that doesn’t require internet data. Online access to the Garmin Quickdraw™ Community lets you download maps with 0.3-meter contours to save your best fishing spots. Choose between traditional, easy-to-interpret 2-D sonar mode and the flasher mode (recommended for ice fishing), with advanced settings for range, sensitivity, and more.

The sonar is durable and lightweight, built to last and easy to cast using a 9kg test weight or a longer rod. It is also water-resistant to IPX6 and IPX7 standards. To conserve battery life, the Striker Cast automatically powers on when floating on water and turns off when not floating.
