Through the compatible NMEA 2000 network, the compass transmits essential ship control data directly to the chartplotter, seamlessly integrating into the Garmin ecosystem. The 10 Hz update rate ensures fast and continuous monitoring, and in case of GNSS signal loss, the device automatically switches to the magnetometer to maintain critical functions.
