Through the compatible NMEA 2000 network, the compass directly transmits essential vessel control information to the chartplotter, seamlessly integrating into the Garmin ecosystem. The 10 Hz update rate ensures fast and consistent monitoring, and in case of GNSS signal loss, the device automatically switches to the magnetometer to maintain essential functions.
