The Garmin GPSMAP 8412 chartplotter is a modern-generation device, equipped with a WUXGA IPS touchscreen display that offers superior clarity, wide viewing angles, and optimal visibility even in sunlight, including with polarized sunglasses. The edge-to-edge design allows for sleek and versatile mounting, either flush or flat, providing a modern look on your boat.

The unit is compatible with 1 kW CHIRP sonar, as well as ClearVu and SideVu sonars (with the GCV black box sold separately). The chartplotter is compatible with Panoptix and Panoptix LiveScope sonars, delivering easy-to-interpret real-time images. It’s built for full integration into marine networks, supporting NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, Garmin Marine Network, and multiple Fusion-Link audio-video devices, radars, and IP cameras.

The GPSMAP 8412 supports premium Garmin Navionics+, Vision+, and BlueChart maps, offers advanced navigation features like Auto Guidance+, SmartMode, and OneHelm, and allows integration with Power-Pole systems and the Force trolling motor. Wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ANT) and the ActiveCaptain app facilitate software updates, smart notifications, and access to the QuickDraw community.
