It’s built for full integration into marine networks, supporting NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, Garmin Marine Network, and multiple Fusion-Link audio-video devices, radars, and IP cameras.

The GPSMAP 8412 supports premium Garmin Navionics+, Vision+, and BlueChart maps, offers advanced navigation features like Auto Guidance+, SmartMode, and OneHelm, and allows integration with Power-Pole systems and the Force trolling motor. Wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ANT) and the ActiveCaptain app facilitate software updates, smart notifications, and access to the QuickDraw community.
