The Garmin GPSMAP 1222xsv chartplotter is a multifunctional device designed for marine navigation. The WSVGA screen provides good visibility in sunlight, and the button-based interface allows precise and quick control even in challenging conditions. It is built to withstand the marine environment, featuring an IPX7 water resistance rating.

The 1222xsv version is equipped with an integrated sonar module that includes traditional CHIRP technology, offering clear target separation and accurate fish identification. Additionally, ClearVu and SideVu functions are available, displaying high-resolution images of underwater structures and objects around the boat, down to considerable depths and wide side angles. Compatibility with Panoptix and LiveScope sonars gives access to real-time views of fish movements and terrain, providing anglers a significant advantage in quickly locating productive areas. All these functions can be displayed simultaneously on the screen, offering a complete and detailed view of the underwater environment.

The device includes wireless ANT and Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing pairing with Garmin quatix watches, gWind Wireless sensors, GNX Wind instruments, or the ActiveCaptain app to manage the marine experience. Moreover, it is compatible with Garmin Marine Network and NMEA 2000 networks, offering full integration with autopilot systems, sonars, radars, and other onboard equipment.

The GPSMAP 1222xsv features advanced functions such as Garmin SailAssist for sailing navigation, GPX transfer for waypoints, and Power-Pole integration for advanced boat control. It is also compatible with Panoptix and LiveScope, Fusion-Link for audio control, and satellite communication devices inReach for sending messages directly from the chartplotter.
