The Garmin GPSMAP 1022xsv chartplotter is a multifunctional device designed for marine navigation. The WSVGA screen provides good visibility in sunlight, and the button-based interface allows precise and quick control even in challenging conditions. It is built to withstand the marine environment, with an IPX7 water resistance rating.

The 1022xsv version is equipped with an integrated sonar module featuring traditional CHIRP technology, delivering clear target separation and accurate fish identification. Additionally, ClearVu and SideVu functions display high-resolution images of underwater structures and objects around the boat, at considerable depths and wide lateral angles. Compatibility with Panoptix and LiveScope sonars grants access to real-time views of fish movement and the bottom terrain, offering anglers a significant advantage in quickly locating productive spots. All these features can be displayed simultaneously on the screen, providing a complete and detailed picture of the underwater environment.

The device includes wireless connectivity via ANT and Wi-Fi, enabling pairing with Garmin quatix watches, gWind Wireless sensors, GNX Wind instruments, or the ActiveCaptain app for managing the marine experience. Moreover, it is compatible with Garmin Marine Network and NMEA 2000 networks, offering full integration with autopilot systems, sonars, radars, and other onboard equipment.

GPSMAP 1022 includes advanced features such as Garmin SailAssist for sail navigation, GPX transfer for waypoints, and Power-Pole integration for advanced boat control. It is also compatible with Panoptix and LiveScope, Fusion-Link for audio control, and inReach satellite communication devices for sending messages directly from the chartplotter.
