ESP Cryogen Chod Rig is a short rig, specially designed for carp fishing in waters with a silty substrate. Invented several years ago and responsible from the start for many notable catches, the Chod Rig is mainly used with buoyant baits, such as pop-ups, featuring a mechanism that allows a high degree of hook freedom during the carp's suction.

The operating principle is relatively simple, with the main advantage being the adjustment of the leader's position along the leadcore in helicopter rigs. In other words, no matter how deep the lead sinks into the silt, the bait will always be positioned above the substrate. High-quality components are used in the rig's construction, such as hooks from the Cryogen range, a Uni-Link swivel snap swivel, and a metal screw for attaching the bait.
