The Chod-Hammer hooks incorporate the key features of their "big brother" just as effectively as the Cryogen Trig-Hammer. A crucial feature is that the Cryogen Chod-Hammer was designed with the same tip profile (for all sizes) as the Trig-Hammer, ensuring the long, fine tips remain extremely sharp. The ESP Cryogen Chod-Hammer is a teflon-coated hook with an eye, a long shank with a subtle curve, and micro barb, specially crafted for Chod rigs.

The hooks are made from forged Japanese steel, feature a PTFE finish, and their sharp tips created with a special technology provide a long service life. These hooks are currently approximately 25% stronger than their predecessors, while maintaining the finesse and discreetness of the rig. They are highly effective in a wide variety of bait presentations, and their shape prevents the hook from being expelled or pulled out of the fish's mouth.
