The Garmin GMR Fantom 24x is a 50W solid-state radar dome designed for performance in all fishing or navigation conditions. It offers clear target detection and size adjustment on the screen, with an operating range between 6m and 48NM. MotionScope™ technology uses the Doppler effect to highlight moving targets with distinct colors, making it easier to avoid collisions, navigate in challenging weather, and identify areas where birds indicate fish presence. Power Save and Timed Transmit modes reduce power consumption, extending autonomy on the water.

The radar features an intuitive interface with no complex settings and allows split-screen display with different ranges on a compatible chartplotter. It supports Dual-Radar mode for redundancy and independence between signal sources. Built-in functions such as Dynamic Auto Gain, Dynamic Sea Filter, Radar Overlay, MARPA with automatic target acquisition, and guard zones support safe navigation and accurate VRM/EBL measurements.
