The Chimera NXT is a baitrunner reel designed in dark gray and black, with several finely crafted details such as the wooden handle and the special treatment of the spool, creating a very interesting and elegant ensemble. However, the key feature of this reel lies inside, where the bearings and main shaft are made of stainless steel.

These components ensure continuous and smooth operation, and thanks to them, there is no fear of premature wear. Together with the solid body, they provide a long service life and trouble-free functioning. In total, the reel features six (5+1) bearings and a gear ratio of 5.5:1.

The POWER quick drag brake with a braking force of up to 12 kg is an excellent value for reels of this size. Thanks to this, you can react very quickly to fish strikes when needed, and a full drag adjustment is just a matter of a turn.

The base spool is deep and conical. During casting, the line will unwind from it very smoothly, allowing you to cast a few meters further. Additionally, the spool has two metal clips that allow you to secure the line for perfectly accurate casts.

At the rear of the body, there is the baitrunner brake control knob, and above it is the baitrunner switch itself. Its parameters make it suitable for carp fishing, but it also fits well for catching white fish, using classic or feeder methods. The reel comes with a spare metal spool with reduced depth.
