Description caret-down

Daiwa Lexa E LT Reel

The Lexa E LT is one of the newest reel models launched on the market, impressing both visually and technically. Its ultra-smooth operation is a real strong point. Thanks to the integration of the LT (Light & Tough) concept, DAIWA engineers have significantly reduced the reel's weight. The HardBodyZ® aluminum body withstands extreme stress, while the innovative Tough Digigear design combined with the silent oscillation system provides instant power transmission and increased durability.

The ATD braking system allows instant operation and excels by progressively transitioning, within fractions of a second, to the preset braking force to prevent the snapping of braided lines under shock. Using MagSealed technology, the reel’s brake, rotor, and internal components are protected against dirt and water ingress. The seal is made from oil frozen in a magnetic field that prevents water and dust from entering the mechanisms. The latest Twist Buster II system significantly reduces friction between the line and the roller, preventing accidental line breakage.

The flawless gear operation is ensured by 5 ball bearings, and thanks to the unique design, the forged aluminum ABS long cast spool creates almost no friction resistance during casts, facilitating achieving considerable distances. The Cross Wrap® line lay system significantly reduces line tangles around the axis. The extremely smooth operation allows for very sensitive lure presentation when fishing for pike, zander, or perch. Semi-shallow spools are especially useful for use with braided lines.

NOTE: Reels with the letter "C" in the product code are sold with a "Compact" spool (small body / oversized spool), while reels with the letter "S" in the product code come with a "Shallow" spool (narrow - reduced storage capacity). Also, versions with the letters "XH" in the product code feature a higher gear ratio (Speed Gear Ratio) compared to standard reels. The larger pinion dramatically improves transmission power, meaning XH model reels have nearly twice the transmission/retrieval power of standard models.
